Dear enroller/candidate,

We note that you have one or more candidates enrolled for examination in the Fourth Metropolitan Practical Session. Please log in to AMEB Connect, select ‘My Candidates’ and download each candidate’s Notice of Examination, which is to be printed, completed and brought to the examination (in physical form). Diploma candidates must also bring photo ID.

At the present time the risk of viral infection is high. Therefore, we will continue to apply strong sanitisation, hygiene and physical distancing measures, as outlined in the Health & Hygiene Protocols posted on the AMEB Victoria website <click here>.

AMEB Victoria continues to strongly encourage individuals to remain up to date with their COVID-19 vaccinations but do not require evidence of vaccination in order to enter our premises.

Visitors are requested not to enter the premises if feeling unwell or exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms or receiving a positive result to a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test within the last 48 hours or waiting for the results of a COVID-19 PCR Test. Any visitor exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms may be asked to leave the premises.

Candidates presenting with cold or flu-like symptoms (such as coughing) will not be able to be examined; they will be asked to leave the premises and the enroller may request a partial refund of the entry fee on medical grounds.

It is strongly recommended that a fitted face-mask is worn, except when drinking from a personal water bottle or performing.

Please forward this email to each candidate, so that they are fully aware of our current policies and the procedures to be followed on arrival at the Hawthorn studios. The health and safety of visitors and employees is our first priority, and it is important that all health and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.

Should a candidate be unable to attend a scheduled examination for health reasons, the enroller is requested to inform the AMEB Victoria office by email at the earliest opportunity. On presentation of an acceptable medical certificate, the candidate can either:
(a) transfer to a Video Repertoire examination (transfers close 16 September); or
(b) re-schedule the examination to the Fifth Metropolitan Practical Session upon payment of a re-scheduling fee equivalent to 50% of the entry fee; or
(c) withdraw from the examination and receive a 50% refund of the entry fee.

We thank you for your co-operation and wish your candidate/s all the best for their upcoming examinations.

Kind regards,
Alwyn Mott | General Manager
