Scales need to be prepared before you start. Also a lot of fingering has evolved over time to be incorrect. In future grades you’ll really need to make sure this doesn’t happen, but it’s too late to fix. It’ll make your scales harder to play, but assuming you don’t make mistakes it doesn’t make you lose mark generally.

Gavotte

  • don’t go too fast here for an extra list, just relax
  • some incorrect rhythms in 2nd page, not a big deal for extra list, but just listen to the recordings for this

Song with a sad ending

  • this has its weird moments but its mostly okay except 11-16, go super slow. it’s just a practice accuracy issue here nothing else

  • when trying scales for the first time, super slow motion practice, always checking all finger numbers
  • no new scales, existing scales to be mastered

  • larger dynamic range, even if it is just mp, because mp is max dynamic
  • is there an extra bar on last line!!?

  • good attempt to fix notes as well, but maybe not 100% executed correctly in practice.
    • important concept: get the note right the first time, instead of one time wrong and then fix it
  • last line practice with many errors however!
