Isaac’s Piano Studio – AMEB and VCE Piano Lessons and Piano Teacher

Isaac is a piano teacher based in Mulgrave, currently teaching over 70 students between his private practice and his position as Piano Teacher for Beaconhills College, Berwick. His students have obtained scholarships for schools such as Yarra Valley Grammar, and his students have also gained entry for music programs at Melbourne and Monash University.

His students have also achieved certificates for AmusA and received results in the top 2% of VCE students in Victoria.

Isaac’s students have a proven track record of success, with his students getting A+s for grades up to Certificate of Performance (Grade 9). His students frequently range from Preliminary to LmusA (Grade 11). His students also perform at Eisteddfods (competitions).

Isaac’s students have an opportunity to perform at an all-abilities concert twice a year.

Isaac takes pride in bringing out the best of each piano student to bring out their innate musicality. Students are encouraged to perform in concerts, competitions, school events and for family.

Performer’s Biography

Isaac takes pride in his ability as a performer and has been involved in performances, masterclasses and competitions locally and overseas, including the UCSI International Piano Competition in Kuala Lumpur, where he was a semi-finalist. Domestically, in tandem with the successful completion of his Bachelor of Music at Monash University, he has been a finalist for the Australian Music Prize twice and a finalist for the Spivakovsky Piano Prize representing the top level of his cohort. He has also been invited to the Melbourne Recital Centre for a masterclass with acclaimed pianist Paul Lewis.

Isaac’s teachers have included Tamara Smolyar, Mikhail Solovei and Louisa Breen.
